TEXO successfully supported the installation of the newly manufactured 1500 ton J-lay Tower on behalf of Royal IHC for their customer McDermott International Ltd. The tower was installed onto McDermott’s newly converted AMAZON vessel in Rotterdam.

The result

This extremely complex operation was successfully completed as a result of excellent detailed planning, involving the world largest Offshore crane, the Heerma Sleiplner.
