The client
A client asked us to work on its asset on the quayside in Khalifa, UAE. We were tasked with completely refurbishing the smoking area on the asset.
The solution
We cleaned down the existing walls, filling and smoothing off the wall panel upright joints and overlaying with graphically-designed vinyl wall coverings showing panoramic views of Glen Coe. We installed a blue vinyl covering on the ceiling, and lifted the existing floor vinyl so we could carry out screed repairs and lay new blue IMO-rated Polyfloor vinyl. We then installed 12 new sofa seats and six coffee tables.

Since completing this project, we have been asked to survey two further areas on the asset for future similar works.
