Asset Life Cycle Management
A major North Sea operator required a trusted delivery partner capable of managing a high volume of repair order scopes across its offshore asset portfolio.
Rather than isolated, one-off projects, the contract required TEXO to establish a consistent and cost-effective approach capable of supporting repeatable works over a multi-year programme.
For TEXO, the contract represented an opportunity to apply its engineering and fabrication expertise at significantly greater scale, strengthening processes and ways of working to meet the requirements of a major operator while maintaining quality and consistency across a diverse range of scopes.
Since the contract commenced in July 2023, TEXO has completed more than 1,600 repair order scopes across the client’s North Sea assets.
TEXO provides an integrated service encompassing offshore survey, engineering and design, through to fabrication and delivery.
The breadth of work has included:
Where appropriate, TEXO’s engineering teams have developed solutions specifically designed to simplify offshore installation and reduce disruption.
For replacement pipework, dimensional control survey techniques have been used to mitigate costly and time-consuming scaffolding requirements, while mechanical connectors have enabled solutions to be installed without offshore welding.
Similarly, replacement pipe supports have been engineered as bolted solutions, removing the requirement for welding on site.
Fabrication is completed through TEXO’s own facilities, providing greater control over quality, programme and delivery.
More than 1,600 scopes have now been successfully completed under the ongoing contract, demonstrating TEXO’s ability to deliver repeatable repair order works consistently and cost-effectively across a major offshore portfolio.
Individual scopes highlighted within the programme have been completed within budget and ahead of schedule, including generator exhaust, safety gate, anti-vibration clamp, piping and spring hanger works.
The success of the programme has also contributed to the continued development of TEXO’s internal processes, procedures and delivery model for long-term repair order contracts.
In July 2026, TEXO was awarded a six-month contract extension, further extending a relationship that began in 2023.
The programme demonstrates the value of combining survey, engineering, fabrication and offshore knowledge within a coordinated delivery model – providing clients with a responsive partner capable of taking repair requirements from initial scope through to practical, installation-ready solutions.
