Texo Marine are delighted to announce the delivery of their new operational support vessels. The company has made strategic procurement decisions on the purchase of a Blyth 9m Workcat – Multihull Support Vessel TXM-SV1 and an 8m Inboard Diesel Rib – Rib Support Vessel TXM-SV2.
The Workcat and RIB have been relocated to Texo Marine’s Aberdeen HQ for a bespoke refurbishment and fit out program, including the installation of their own designed Compact Diver Recovery System (Workcat).
The new vessels will be complemented by the development and manufacture of an array of Diver Support equipment including:
- ·Containerised Dive Support Spread – TXM-DS1
- Dive Machinery Container – TXM-DS2
- Diver Launch and Recovery System – TXM-LARS1&2 (To be designed and fabricated by Texo Engineering and Texo Fabrication)
- Containerised Dive Decompression Chamber – TXM-DDC1
Callum Masson, Managing Director, Texo Marine commented: “The new equipment will allow Texo Marine to undertake extensive Air Dive scopes in-house utilising our own equipment. The initial focus for this new equipment will be on civils and renewables workscopes from our operational bases in Dundee and Blyth.”
