Texo Integrity+ were commissioned to carry out the annual silo tank cleaning and the torque tube inspection on-board an offshore platform in the north North Sea in December 2019.
Texo Integrity+ mobilised a multi-disciplined and multi-skilled rope access team to clean and perform a visual inspection on eight cement and barite silo tanks. Once this was achieved, the same three-man team was able to remedy and repair the anomalies/defects that were found, minimising downtime and operational disruption. In addition to this, an annual visual inspection was also carried out on the torque tube. This provided the end-client with a truly integrated inspection, access and repair solution.
Post project feedback from the client has been outstanding, with excellent scores across the spectrum for the project delivery.
Specific client comments included:
“Good work done by the team, despite difficult weather conditions.”
“The team completed the work scope and were pro-active when preparing for the next work scopes.”
“The team worked well with all members onboard the platform.”
“Any changes or delays were dealt with in a professional manner.”
